Studio Policies & Booking Guidelines
these policies exist to support a calm, focused, and respectful tattoo experience. they allow each project to receive the time, care, and presence it deserves, while ensuring clarity for both artist and client. they exist to protect the quality of the work, the integrity of the process, and the experience of everyone involved. these guidelines are what let me stay present and creative, session after session. by booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all tattoo appointments.
Deposits are applied toward the final cost of your session.
Deposits reserve your appointment time and account for consultation, preparation, design work, and the inability to refill the appointment if it is vacated.
Deposit amounts vary depending on project size and session type and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 72 hours' (3 days) notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 72 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will result in forfeiture of the original deposit, and will require a new deposit to be made in order to rebook your session.
If a reschedule is requested with proper notice, the original deposit may be retained one time only.
The new appointment must be booked within 2 to 3 months of the original date. If a new appointment isn't scheduled within this window, the deposit expires and a new deposit is required to secure future booking.
These guidelines exist because last-minute changes or open-ended reschedules often can't be refilled, and directly impact studio availability for other clients, and by extension, my income and capacity.
In the rare event the artist must reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, your deposit will remain fully valid or be refunded if rescheduling is not possible.
Pricing & Session Structure
All tattoos are priced by session, not by the hour. This supports focused, unrushed work and allows each piece to develop naturally.
These are booked as half day, and full day sessions.
Significant changes to size, placement, or complexity may affect pricing and may require additional sessions.
larger projects, such as sleeves, back pieces, etc - are given a range, however I cannot confirm the exact amount of sessions needed.
If a session runs long, or needs more time to finish, I book a follow-up date to finish rather than extending that day. Additional time is treated as its own appointment, either hourly or another session depending on the project.
Design Process
All tattoos are custom and designed specifically for each client, in my own style and my own interpretation.
Designs are typically presented on the day of the appointment, based on what we discussed via email or during our consultation. Minor edits and adjustments can be made together at that time.
I work with a combination of stenciling and freehand drawing, depending on the project. we'll explore sizing, placement, and flow for your body together
If your references include AI-generated imagery, I will not replicate or design directly from it. I work from real references: hand-drawn work, photography, and the natural world.
Major redesign requests made on the day of the appointment (for example - a complete concept change) will require rescheduling and may result in deposit forfeiture.

Creative Direction & Collaboration
Ongoing Projects
Touch Ups
By booking, you are choosing my style, process, and creative perspective.
The strongest results come from a balance of collaboration and artistic freedom. I encourage you to share your vision, and to trust my guidance throughout the process.
Multi-session or ongoing projects are expected to move forward within a reasonable timeframe.
Extended gaps between sessions may require reassessment, updated pricing, or a new deposit, depending on availability and project scope.
A touch-up is a minor correction to a finished, existing piece.
It is not an addition to, or change of the design, those are new projects, priced and booked as such.
If ink or color didn't settle evenly during healing, and aftercare instructions were followed, the touch-up is complimentary within 6 months of your original session.
Touch-ups are not complimentary for fading from sun exposure, picking, missed aftercare, or normal fading over time. These are part of caring for the piece long term.
Outside the 6 month window, or for any of the causes above, touch-ups are booked as their own appointment. (generally $50-$150/session)
Touch-up appointments follow the same cancellation, rescheduling, and arrival policies as any other session.
